Job Purpose

The Specialist, Talent & Culture will serve in an HR Generalist role, providing support to the Talent & Culture team in a variety of tasks and managing the day to day operations of the Talent function. Reporting to the Director of Talent & Culture, this role will work across all areas of the department to drive employee engagement as a subject matter expert for day to day questions, while also directly owning core talent management processes, and serving as a systems administrator.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in core Talent Management process in close collaboration with senior management and the Director, Talent & Culture
  • Act as the system administrator, driving use, data integrity, insight and reporting in all HR systems -- including Namely, Greenhouse, DocuSign, CultureAmp, benefits systems, and our employee training platform -- and of all HR metrics.
  • Own compliance for the department, including employee file system, management and compliance, including improving audit processes and overall data retention efforts
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and drive processes for benefits, onboarding, offboarding, and other HR related inquiries, including
    • Create employee documents, including offer letters, separation memos, and other bonus or compensation records
    • Process all unemployment benefits, claims, and information requests
  • Assist with other Talent-related projects as directed or requested

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years of human resources experience; preferred experience in an HRIS role or with people analytics
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, and preferably Tableau
  • Employee focus mentality with exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced environment
  • A very high degree of personal integrity including the ability to manage sensitive or confidential information
  • Proven ability to manage self to goals and deadline
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork and organizational skills
