In this role, you will help develop the roadmap for our future learning ecosystem. You will play an integral part in designing and building a digital learning platform, advance our use of learning technologies, measure program impact, and ensure streamlined learning operations. You will provide expertise in the implementation of learning technologies and lead governance around standardization and oversight to serve AppNexus learning needs. With high visibility and exposure to AppNexus leadership, you will be part of a highly collaborative People team that provides employees broad opportunities for development.

About the team:

People Growth is the learning and development team at AppNexus. We empower AppNexians through world-class professional development programs, including courses, workshops, new hire onboarding, team-based development activities, and individual coaching.

About the job:

  • Design and build the strategy for AppNexus’ digital learning platform for managers and individual contributors in partnership with our leadership team
  • Expand our digital programming via external partners and custom AppNexian content to foster a culture of curious, independent learners
  • Lead the planning, implementation and operations of key learning technology initiatives focused on virtual, mobile, and blended learning strategies
  • Lead the operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, analysis, and administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning technologies
  • Measure the impact of programs
  • Create, curate, publish and archive online courses
  • Create Learning Paths in partnership with team members including assigning training and curricula within the LMS

About your skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-7+ years’ experience in learning and development preferred
  • Experience developing and/or executing Digital Learning programs
  • 3+ years of experience in learning operations, and/or system administration
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems and other web-based technologies that facilitate the creation and delivery of learning experiences
  • Experience with Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) standards
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and collaborate with colleagues across teams and levels
  • Proficiency in developing meaningful learning metrics and management reports
  • Experience managing multiple global vendor relationships
