The Meta Legal team is seeking a motivated, organized, detail-oriented candidate to join our Law Enforcement Outreach/Trust and Safety team. The right candidate must have a strong work ethic, excellent judgment, and exceptional partnering skills. This person will serve as a specialist for law enforcement and safety matters. You must have the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and work proactively with various teams across the organization.

  • Lead tactical engagement and education for local and state law enforcement agencies in regards to child safety and other high risk harm types
  • Obtain feedback from law enforcement and government agencies on safety initiatives the team leads at Meta
  • Present externally to law enforcement and government agencies
  • Provide real-time updates on events to organization leadership
  • Support child safety, terrorism, other high risk harm types and our emergency response teams
  • Partner with other internal teams in supporting our community of users
  • Work with graphic or sensitive content on a regular basis
  • Be available for after-hours and weekend work as needed


  • Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of additional work experience in safety/security minded field in lieu of a degree
  • 3+ years experience as an analyst or investigator with a safety, law enforcement or security focus
  • Experience assessing, analyzing, resolving and presenting on a variety of safety issues


  • Law enforcement or other government investigator background. This could be work with law enforcement
  • Experience working at or with national level child safety organizations and other environments dealing with high risk user safety harm types
  • Experience conducting presentations in large groups
