Meredith Consumer Revenue relies on email marketing as a critical channel for communicating with its consumers and must ensure a continuous flow of high-quality interactions via its industry-leading brands.
The Assistant Manager Email Marketing Optimization & Operations supports the Meredith Consumer Revenue email strategy by maintaining the integrity of every email marketing campaigns through completion of its deployment. This Manager is responsible for supporting the email strategy, content and production to implement email programs that drive engagement and grow revenue.
• Implement innovative communication strategies in email such as user preferences, segmentation, dynamic content, triggered emails, as well as other related channels. • Develop an understanding around our database and technical platforms on which email programs are built and executed • Ensure solid deliverability through management of deliverability technologies and processes, monitoring and making suggestions on how to improve delivery
• Work closely with design and marketing teams to optimize email marketing to increase deliverability and quality rendering across multiple email platforms, web browsers and devices • Assist in data projects related to needs for specific campaigns as well as those involving overall list hygiene, data exports/imports with the Meredith database and ESP

Contribute toward achieving revenue goals by flawlessly executing email program setup and by recommending effective tests in order to maximize performance 30% Assist with developing processes around campaign workflow and manage deadlines of internal groups. Maintain efficient campaign setup, management and quality assurance to execute flawless campaigns. 10% Stay current with email best practices, industry trends on deliverability and key legislation impacting Meredith email programs.
III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered. Education: College degree in marketing or similar field; or equivalent education or training. Experience: Minimum 3 years in marketing management.
