Job Description

I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.

Competent to work on the review, analysis, and evaluation of complex processes, systems and user needs for planned projects. This Sr. Business Analyst position will document complex business and reporting requirements and work closely with the developers to ensure solutions meet these requirements. This position will work with many different business areas, PCI compliance department and consumer revenue technology group to refine and/or define necessary audits for new and existing processes. Other areas that the position will assist in as needed is working with QA to develop test plans and perform regression and story testing. This position must have strong analytic skills, general knowledge of web technologies and terminology, along with sql and relational database knowledge. Agile, team focused and fast paced work environment.

Analyze, define, document, & communicate business solutions. Designs and executes test plans to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications meet objectives. Understands the long-term business objectives and suggests strategies to meet those objectives; introduces innovation to business processes through technology if appropriate. Performs analysis of business processes and redesigns workflow if appropriate. Recognizes

and identifies potential areas where existing business processes and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, and make recommendations in these areas. Evaluates hardware and software vendors and/or third party hardware and software vendors and report significant findings regarding business services applications.

Identify best-practice processes, methods, & techniques Creates policies and procedures and ensures adoption. Follows agile methodology. Provides leadership and technical knowledge to ensure efficient design, development and implementation of processes and systems. Provide on-site work process and reengineering support to business partners as needed.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.

Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Business Administration or related field; or equivalent training

and/or experience

Experience:

Minimum 6 years’ experience as Business Analyst or other directly related capacity. Substantial

involvement in complex active system requirement definitions. Data analysis – Must have proficiency with SQL. Knowledge to Web applications/technologies and terminology.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively – both oral and written

Ability to understand, document and communicate business requirements

Strong analytical and organizational skills

General Relational Database Knowledge and Medium to advance sql skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to work well with people from different disciplines and varying degrees of technical knowledge

Must be highly motivated, self –directed and able to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
