Lead Billing and Renewal Team in developing, executing and managing all billing, renewal and gift renewal campaigns across all titles, as well as manage own assigned titles and digital products. Enhance current processes to create efficiencies within the team that allows for professional growth, improved revenue and reduced expense. Drive strategic reporting and analysis across billing and renewal channels. Team liaison for the development of ongoing MCO strategies and online tools tied to reporting and online order functionality (including eCare). Understand rate base, profit and directional goals for all titles, team and department and ensure all team members clearly understand expectations.
II. Essential Job Functions
Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results
Develop, execute and manage all schedules and programs for bills, renewals and gift renewals across all titles, as well as the own assigned products and titles. Plan, develop and conduct review meetings with management to identify test opportunities and/or changes to control series. Effectively communicate and update management and directors regularly with accurate and beneficial response data to allow for better strategic planning. Lead team strategy to manage updates required for all necessary systems and reporting programs related to all aspects of Billing and Renewals including digital, auto-renew and/or special initiatives.
Develop and present timely pre- and post-test analysis for all bill, renewal and gift renewal programs. Research and propose test opportunities to achieve source and magazine goals. Prepare pre-test analysis and final recommendations for management. Complete timely and accurate post-test replacement analysis and roll-out recommendations. Monitor inventory levels for assigned titles and continue to manage and create efficiencies with the order of materials across all titles.
Develop and maintain open channel of communication with fulfillment associates and vendors assigned to digital, product and assigned titles. Have day-to-day contact to discuss current selections, tests, etc. Brainstorm with fulfillment associates, fulfillment vendor, etc to determine resolutions for any selection-related problems.
Help formulate fulfillment strategies for digital, auto-renew ‘flip’, MCO and other assigned titles to meet source and overall magazine goals. Initiate global digital and MCO strategies and share with group.

Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or marketing. Additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Experience: Requires seven (7+) years total business experience.
Direct marketing and digital experience preferred. MBA or publishing internship training will be considered in lieu of years’ experience.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Should be knowledgeable about basic direct marketing principles. Should be knowledgeable about digital magazine products, online promotions or product fulfillment technologies. Proficiency in excel and report development required. Must have strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Must be detailed oriented and profit minded. Must be able to prioritize multiple projects and work toward deadlines.
