Job Description

I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.

The Traffic Coordinator maintains the schedule integrity of projects throughout the lifecycle of the creative project.

The Coordinator develops and manages time action plans/schedules- ensuring that the creative flow of content and design and production efforts are on time and on schedule. The Traffic Coordinator constantly facilitates team communication between the Creative and Delivery teams to troubleshoot and problem solve at every stage of development.

  • Manage the efficiency of Meredith’s large Consumer Marketing Creative department
  • Ensure marketing efforts across the portfolios are in the market on time and meet/exceed client’s expectations
  • Identifies conflicts, risks, delays or any other unusual situations and works to resolve these matters and/or obtains deadline extensions when necessary to limit disruption and keep the project on track.
  • Coordinate efforts between the various stakeholder within the creative group – to include copy. Design, production and marketing

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.

Education:

BA/BS marketing or business; equivalent training or experience

Experience:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in successful management of the scheduled flow of projects and programs. Proven experience in successfully managing and meeting multiple and struct deadlines for projects.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

Ability to manage multiple and strict deadlines

Ability to recognize ‘pink’ flags for resolution before they become ‘red’ flags
