This position develops HTML code for email campaigns that meets client expectations and assists with email deployment. The Email Manager collaborates and works closely with email project team members and other technical and development groups.
II. Essential Job Functions
Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results
Develops HTML code for responsive email campaigns leveraging modules and dynamic content
Accepts creative files (PSD, PDF, InDesign, JPG etc) file and develops code and code linking tracking
Codes according to email development best practices and industry standards
Conducts source code reviews to assure quality and functionality
Works with team members to set-up code within ESP
Assists in additional email deployment related tasks
Remains current on email industry trends and makes recommendations for process/product improvements based on trending email software and technologies
III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field; or equivalent training or experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience building, scheduling and testing mail campaigns.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Hands on experience with an enterprise level email delivery system
Thorough understanding of HTML/CSS, mobile responsive design
Competency in Adobe Creative Suite
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Familiarity with email lifecycle campaigns
Knowledge of best practices for email marketing, including email creative, segmentation, dynamic content, testing methodologies, deliverability, list growth, etc.
Hands-on experience in day-to-day email execution from conception to execution.
Experience working with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture
