Position Summary

The MCOE is requesting a full time Search Subject Matter Expert on the team to lead and manage holistic search on behalf of all brands. Search serves a multi-faceted role in digital across organic and paid (eRetailer & branded) channels. It provides intent signals and facilitates the discoverability of our brands. It also is serving an increasingly important role in eCommerce as it is pivotal we have consumers add our brands in their first basket. The Search SME will continue to establish and lead NUSA’s digital agenda in the search realm, and work to bring all channels (organic, paid elements) together. S/he will be responsible and accountable for the continual assessment, strategy, and evolution of all platforms and campaigns. And will ensure there is continued continuity across organic and paid, with optimizations and learning woven back into planning and investments to improve performance and efficiencies. Additionally, this position will manage and evolve the extension of audience and digital strategic and technical initiatives into the search investment with oversight from the Digital Lead. This position is the subject matter expert and will be responsible for SEM/SEO strategy, analysis, campaign management, managing agency scopes and relationships, testing and creating long-term action plans that drive results.  This position collaborates with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external, from Marketing and Sales to Media Agency partners and vendors as well as Global teams.

Core Responsibilities
Improvement in media and effectiveness for holistic search across all NUSA brands. Specifically, improvements in digital search metrics for optimizations, tracking across local & global benchmarks, MMM results, allocated YoY spends, and better overall ROI and performance.

o    Bachelor’s degree required
o    7+ years of experience at Client or Agency leading strategic holistic planning and activation of Search (SEM and SEO), including eSearch 

o    Understanding of how Paid Search/SEM interacts with Display Media, Paid Social, SEO, Feeds, Mobile, Social and Attribution
o    Exceptional knowledge of Paid Search, market development and trends
o    Possess a deep understanding of on-page and technical SEO ranking factors
o    Solid experience analyzing data to understand consumer insights, help develop target audiences, keyword lists or SEO content, provide clear direction to agencies to optimize campaigns and evaluate media or content performance
o    An expert with standard search industry reporting and diagnostic tools, Ad-serving and Bid Management technologies and Enterprise-level SEO platforms (e.g. including Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Bing, Google Search Console, Google Keyword Planner, SimilarWeb, BrightEdge)
o    Experience working with traditional and eCommerce search platforms and partners (Walmart, Amazon, Kroger, Target, Instacart, CommerceIQ)
o    Knowledge of PPC programs and optimizing data gathered from both organic and paid sources
o    Experience developing internal reporting tools with the ability to “tell the story” to brand teams and other stakeholders.
o    Marketing or agency experience with familiarity of agency scopes.
o    CPG Experience preferred. 
o    Additional DTC experience also preferred
