We are looking for a talented Product Owner!

The AutoMedia product owner takes a leading role in product strategy and the functional delivery of consumer, dealer and lending products that enable digital retail with financing for credit union members. Using skills in research, user experience and agile software delivery, the PO collects requirements and represents the customer towards critical enablers including product leadership, development/engineering teams and wider stakeholder groups spanning sales through product support. Fulfilling a leadership role, the PO cultivates a high-performance culture, facilitates collaboration and contributes towards the team's overall development and product maturity.

What You’ll Be Doing

Research & Strategy

  • Work with product leadership to research, expand, analyze and communicate learnings and insights that develop our product vision, refine our competitive strategy and improve customer focus at multiple levels across the organization.
  • This includes market analysis, consumer insights, product analysis (including competitor and gap analysis), trends and end-user requirements.

Functional Delivery:

  • Analyze and document capabilities and features as epics, user stories and tickets that prioritize MVP based on the target CX and efficient delivery.
  • This includes coordinating development/engineering, content & UX design, cross-functional stakeholders and product leadership to deliver wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs that shape technical delivery, while maintaining medium-term product development backlogs ensuring delivery against release targets.
  • This function also takes a leading role facilitating scrum ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos), building documentation and upholding agile delivery best practices.

You will stand out with:

Education:

  • College Degree (BA/BS Degree or advanced degree – MBA preferred) in business, computer science, marketing or related field

Experience:

  • Using data and customer focus to research, define and influence product vision, features and priorities
  • Defining the target user experience in collaboration with UX and design
  • Success building, launching and operating consumer products in complex environments with multiple dependencies
  • A minimum of 2 to 4 years’ experience in agile software delivery
  • Knowledge of automotive, F&I, ecommerce and/or lending industries

Specialized Skills:

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Proven experience making data-driven decisions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience interfacing with Customers and internal business units to gather product requirements
