Your profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering

  • 8+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering/Bid Management. Preferred experience with High Voltage Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC)/Turnkey projects.

  • Experience with complex project delivery, Demonstrated business acumen in balancing customer and business requirements, i.e., financials strategic and tactical thinking etc.

  • Knowledge of Power Electronic Systems used in Transmission Systems would be a plus.

  • Inherent ability to work effectively in a team environment and strong desire to win

  • Must be able to travel at least 20% (Domestically and Internationally)

  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop sales proposals for Transmission Solution projects to determine proposal feasibility and ensure competitiveness in the EPC market.

  • Develops, edits and writes original proposal responses and other sales-related documents.

  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of assigned industry structure, applications, terminology, trends, and issues.

  • Discover and understand customer’s primary business goals, operations, challenges and requirements.

  • Align and apply the entire scope of Siemens products, solutions and services to meet the customer’s business goals.

  • Validate and endorse the technical aspects of the solution offered in the bid.

  • Display a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems.

  • Understand the Transmission Utility market as it relates to customer requirements, opportunities and competition
