Your profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in engineering and or construction project management with full project life cycle ownership within substation construction.

  • Expert knowledge of EPC project delivery methods including expert working knowledge and understanding of all project management control systems (scheduling, estimating, cost control, procurement and business development) with expert level knowledge of high voltage substations.

  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.

  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations with ability to negotiate and manage confrontation topics.

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, multi-tasking skills, advanced time management and analytical skills.

  • Self motivated, decisive, and adaptable with the ability to motivate and build strong working relationships in cross-functional project teams to develop technical solutions is a must. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to help identify, codify and train others on best new product introduction practices.

  • As a federal contractor, Siemens Energy continues to monitor federal and state legal guidelines regarding the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. SEI will monitor the situation closely and may reimplement its policy if required to comply with federal law. Your responsibilities

  • Identify key customers in the Data Center market and qualify Siemens Energy for participation in Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

  • Lead RFPs by ensuring proposal meets customer needs are met with quality proposals

  • Expand Siemens Energy presence within key accounts by identifying both the needs of customers and how our portfolio can satisfy those needs

  • Engage with and maintain key customer relationships with a goal of developing re-occurring business streams.

  • Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues

  • Responsible for the total profit / loss functions and ending results of each assigned project by monitoring milestones and adherence to budgets, and initiating actions to minimize non-conformance costs.

  • Communicate, coordinate and manage cross-organizational departments (sales, procurement, engineering, construction, commissioning) to complete project as planned

  • Review project specifications, drawings and project-specific documents to establish project intent and participate in project cost reviews.

  • Manage procurement functions to properly define scope and award of various subcontractors

  • Coordinate with project CPM to ensure project financials and forecasting is accurate

  • Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team. Identify time-sensitive installation needs.

  • Conducts stakeholder analysis and manages efficient communication with all relevant stakeholders incl. different countries/states of region, headquarter, customer, partners and suppliers

  • Develop and maintain a project schedule as per the contract

  • Responsible for Change Management and Resolution and pursuing project-specific change-order opportunities.

  • Document project events that impact the schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency.

  • Maintains constant communication to customers, outside contractors or other stakeholders.

  • Adheres to PM standards and Business Conduct Guidelines (e.g. Tax regulations, Export Control, EHS).
