Position Summary:

The NBA is looking for a driven and results oriented Associate QA Engineer to join the growing Next Gen platform engineering team. You are a highly motivated, self-starter with experience testing start of the art mobile applications that leverage multiple backend services in a cloud environment. Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Assoc. QA Engineer for the Next Gen engineering team.
• Support the testing effort of an assigned project and its features
• Perform hands on manual testing of mobile/tablet/connected devices releases for Next gen app.
• Define, create, maintain and execute test cases based on requirements and specifications
• Identify and report fucntional, visual, performance, corss-platform or other types of bugs and issues.
• Review application builds to ensure on-time delivery and overall product quality
• Collaborate cross functionally with Product and Dev teams
• Participate in Agile ceremonies

Required Skills/Knowledge:

• 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
• 1+ years working with web and/or mobile apps.
• Basic understanding of ALM tools such as JIRA, AzureDevops or other helpful QA/development tools.
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Some familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and improve testing skills through new techniques and tools.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience.
