Day to day operational responsibility for multimillion-dollar revenue generating programs across over 14 Markets in Asia, the Sales Advisor role works closely with our Pre-Sales & Retention Delivery Partners. SAs ensure we maximize performance and drive a strong Sales Pipeline either directly with customers or via Inside-Sales Teams and Partners. Microsoft technologies offer a range of business solutions that help our customers achieve more across several industries & organizations of varying sizes. In the role you will build relationships with Delivery Partners to become recognized as a Trusted Advisor & Mentor to the Sales Advocates, Trainers and Coaches. In addition to running the operations smoothly & delivering results unhindered, identifying gaps in processes/procedures, handling complex escalations as well as proactively removing sales blockers via readiness recommendations are core responsibilities that are imperative in the job. The SAs also collaborate with internal stakeholders & the global Sales Advisor Community to share learnings & insights as well as influence the development of Readiness plus drive recommendations to enhance product & marketing needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day operations, results & relationship with Outsourced Delivery Partners – ensuring Microsoft Sales Targets are met/exceeded
  • Drive Delivery Partner performance via operational levers e.g. Training & Quality, as well as owning & tracking Get-to-Green plans
  • Drive results through collaboration and innovation with both Delivery Partner and internal stakeholders
  • Identify and remove sales blockers across all aspects of the business e.g. processes, procedures & workflow designs
  • Manage complex customer escalations to resolution, use insights learned & help prevent similar situations in the future
  • Proactive identification & prevention of issues through Delivery Partner feedback, business reviews, performance analysis & readiness
  • Monitor Customer and Partner satisfaction – making recommendations and adjustments required to exceed targets
  • Continue to keep pace with Microsoft solution developments & how they apply to positively impact customers across varying industries. Use this knowledge to:
    • Provide insights from customers to internal stakeholders, also offering feedback relevant to Marketing that will help enhance Sales holistically
    • Help develop knowledge and understanding of Microsoft solutions amongst our Delivery Partners
  • Review and provide gap analysis to both Delivery Partner and internal stakeholders on overall sales lifecycle experience
  • Smooth implementation of Tools, Trainings and Processes – ensuring operational risks are identified and mitigated
  • Engage with Delivery Partner and internal Sales teams on mission critical operational escalations
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Tools, Readiness and Processes to internal stakeholders

Qualifications

Experience and Skills desired:

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Sales/Pre-Sales and/or Retention businesses; Exposure to core Services Delivery is desired
  • Experience in working with the breadth of services available in/for Azure including compute, network, storage and security
  • Deep operational experience working with Delivery Partners day-to-day.
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure and adeptness to influence others without having direct authority.
  • Proven experience in resolving Customer and Delivery Partner issues
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal stakeholders and Vendors/Delivery Partners
  • Experience in working across different industry segments, good grasp of diverse Microsoft solutions available & how businesses apply them
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement in performance and processes
  • Successful candidates will have strong business analysis, leadership, problem solving & presentation skills. Should have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent thinker who can deal with ambiguity
