• BS Engineering Degree or High School Diploma or GED with equivalent technical training and experience.
• Computer skills with proficiency using Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills; able to clearly and concisely express information (or data) to non-technical associates, peers, customers, and management.
• Must be Self-Driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups.
• Very strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver the highest quality work in a safe and efficient manner.
• ASNT NDT Level II Certifications (UT, ET, MT, VT, PT, RT, etc) desirable

Your responsibilities

• Travel (up to 20% annually for this position) to Combustion Turbine and Steam Turbine sites and develop, support, or perform field NDE Inspections per Siemens Energy requirements.
• Support customer power plant outage planning and production control to ensure the timely delivery of tools, personnel, and field inspection activities through the application of field service systems and procedures.
• Assist NDE Marketing in the preparation of quotes/offer letters by providing technical input concerning NDE work scopes, durations, equipment, and chemicals.
• Upon receipt of SAP order, use the offer letter(s) and cost estimates(s) to develop TCTP tool list(s) and job work package(s) to perform field NDE jobs.
• Responsible for overseeing the development of new and continuous improvement projects for NDE applications used in the field
• Develop detailed procedures (may be operations, training, maintenance, qualification test, or inspection) for work on equipment and systems used in power plants.
