Your profile: Business Development Manager

  •  A passion for B2B sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Any experience with reciprocating engines or related power generation industries is a plus!

  • The ability to learn about and promote and position reciprocating gas engines as a key component in the distributed generation & microgrid markets in the United States and Canada. Marketing experience in a technical B2B product preferred.

  • The skills to analyze the North American territory as well as develop and execute market penetration strategies, within the energy industry

  • Experience working with CRM technologies and Microsoft Office

  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers

  • We expect this person may travel up to 50%

  • As a federal contractor, Siemens Energy continues to monitor federal and state legal guidelines regarding the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.   Siemens Energy is pausing its mandatory vaccine policy while the issue is addressed by the courts. Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for increasing Siemens Energy Gas Engine brand awareness in the United States and Canada.

  • Learn about and become an expert on our product line to successfully sell products to new customers.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Business Partners to ensure unit sales and revenue targets are met while maintaining Siemens Energy’s reputation as a premier supplier of reciprocating engine energy products.

  • Provide feedback to Management and R&D as to market needs as related to product development

  • As the business expands opportunity for advancement may open within the Gas Engine Business, within the division or Siemens Energy at large.

The North American region sells through a network of reselling channel partners in the United States and Canada and is responsible for all new equipment and parts sales.
