    Moody’s Investors Service is looking for a Research Manager to help build in-house data visualization tools that are efficient for our internal users and capable of delivering web-ready, immersive graphics for our audience. The role will work with financial analysts and writers, our Research Graphics Team, and an Agile software development team. You will support the VP – Product Manager to build and maintain a roadmap, write user stories, test and implement new features, and deliver trainings and communications to grow tool adoption.

    Roles & Responsibilities:
    • Work cross-functionally with financial analysts, writers, and designers to define and prioritize requirements for our in-house data visualization tool
    • Independently research current standards and innovations in data visualization and use that knowledge to inform product roadmap
    • Write clear requirements in user stories and work closely with software engineers to ensure proper implementation
    • Thoroughly test and validate new features
    • Maintain support documentation and host virtual training sessions for users
    • Contribute to internal communication campaigns to spread knowledge about graphics and the tools and resources available to our community of analysts
    • Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) required
    • 1-2 years of product or business analyst experience in an Agile environment, preferably in financial services, journalism, or publishing industries
    • Experience managing cross-functional projects
    • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
    • Knowledge of data visualization and information design is a plus
    • Eagerness to learn and strong time management abilities
    • Excellent communication and organization skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude
    • Ability to adapt and multi-task based on evolving strategic priorities
    MIS Research is dedicated to delivering credit insight that meets market demands to provide the right research to the right person at the right time. This role sits within the Research Graphics Team whose main objective is to elevate the quality and impact of our research through high-quality information visualizations.
