The Forbes Content & Design Services (CDS) team is seeking an experienced Talent Manager to help build a new talent relationship and booking practice. The CDS team produces a wide range of high-impact editorial and paid content programs for Forbes’ audience and advertisers. The Talent Manager would be responsible not only for booking talent to be profiled and featured in that content, but also for negotiating fees, managing contracts and developing overall talent strategy and policy.
Forbes covers a number of industries and ideal candidates will have diverse talent acquisition experience across industries, from tech to finance to lifestyle. Talent at Forbes often means a rising entrepreneur, a C-suite executive or a subject-matter expert, so we’re looking for someone who can reach a range of compelling people to participate in our content, not simply celebrities or major influencers.
Successful applicants could come from varied backgrounds: radio or TV booker; reporter with a wide network; or something else entirely. Ultimately, we are looking for someone who understands how talent fits into storytelling and knows how to acquire that talent.

Manage talent participant outreach including prospecting, pitching, interviewing and onboarding
Negotiate and execute talent agreements including pricing and deliverables
Collaborate with editors, project managers, client managers and others
Develop strategy and standards for Forbes’ talent practice
Establish relationships with various talent agencies
Manage relationships and coordination with talent during content production
Attend shoots and other production events as needed
5+ years’ experience in managing, booking and working with talent for digital, TV, film and/or events or equivalent
Executive thought leadership relationship management experience a plus
Highly organized and able to work well independently within a dynamic, complex, collaborative environment
