In the last few decades, Technology has infiltrated our lives deeply allowing us to make a greater impact on our lives and on this world. Businesses have embraced technology to drive greater experiences for their products and services. For any company, people are its greatest assets and as we all know attracting, retaining and developing talent is significantly important for business leaders. HR leadership teams are continuously looking at people, process and technology to drive this outcome. At Pluralsight, we want to take a different approach to it and leverage technology to solve this challenge. In the last few years, numerous technology solutions have been developed to solve the talent challenge. We are looking for a summer intern to scan the entire HR Technology market-place for tech solutions solving for two key issues:

  1. Leveraging technology to develop and provide career growth to employees
  2. Embracing technology solutions to drive deeper inclusion at the workplace.

This role sits at the intersection of Talent management and HR Technology and the best candidate is someone who understands talent management programs and also has a flair for technology to solve this problem.

What you’ll own:

  • Understand the Career Growth and Inclusion Challenges that we are trying to solve to get a better understanding of the project
  • Completes best practices study on what other companies are doing to solve this challenge, leveraging technology
  • Scan the HR tech marketplace to know what technologies are available /coming up
  • Understand how these technologies would integrate with Workday, our primary HR technology system
  • Provides recommendation on a set of HR technology solutions to explore.
  • Draft Requests for Proposal (RFPs) that can be used to solicit information from the recommended technology vendors

Experience you’ll need:

  • You are passionate about talent management, understand the building blocks of talent management and have a flair for technology
  • You are passionate about a culture of learning and teaching. You love challenging yourself to constantly improve, and sharing your knowledge to empower others
  • You like to take risks when looking for novel solutions to complex problems. If faced with roadblocks, you continue to reach higher to make greatness happen
  • You care about solving big, systemic problems. You look beyond the surface to understand the root causes so that you can build long-term solutions for the whole ecosystem
  • You believe in not only serving customers but also empowering them by providing knowledge and tools
  • MBA/Masters Student
