Are you an ambitious, analytical and creative product manager eager to help our team optimize revenue and build a suite of insights for our advertising customers? If so, you will set the strategic direction for producing and communicating advertiser and business performance, partner with engineering, BI architects and data scientists to source essential data, and implement revenue optimization tests based on advanced quantitative analysis. You will also work closely with UX, operations and sales to draw out information and build intuitive advice to make life easier for our customers, the global sales organization and the global supply organization. You will thrive in an ambiguous environment by being self-directed, resourceful and by applying your creative problem-solving skills to move quickly from ideation to implementation and/or resolution, with a detailed understanding and data-based reasoning. You will demonstrate a bias to action, and the ability to juggle many small projects successfully while maintaining a strategic view of the Media Solutions business. What you will do: You will establish product vision, business goals, and product roadmap, taking an iterative approach Work with BI developers, analytics managers, data scientists and UX teams to solve problems, uncover insights and communicate them in an actionable and intuitive manner You will partner with stakeholders to gather and implement requirements to build a data and reporting platform for a world-class ad serving solution Collaborate with product, data science, engineering, and analytics teams across the organization to design solutions for most efficient monetization of top-of-sort placements You will balance trade-offs between cost, time to market, strategic alignment and return on investment Identify new opportunities and work with business leaders to come up with creative and mutually beneficial solutions to business problems You will actively provide sales with product support required to win new business and turn sales requests into sellable products that enhance the customer experience Engage with engineering teams to plan and deploy product features You will present strategy and roadmap to internal partners at a senior level Who you are: You have 5+ years relevant work experience in online advertising and/or product development Experience in travel or web technology is a plus You possess communication expertise, capable of interacting across all levels of the organization and with external partners Strong eye for detail, with a natural tendency to dig deep to thoroughly understand an issue before recommending a solution You have validated analytical and quantitative skills, with a demonstrated ability to use numbers and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes; experience with financial modeling and statistics is an advantage Shown ability to work with multiple internal organizations requiring clear communication, evangelism and compromise You have worked directly with UX, sales, engineering, analytics and operations teams Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred Why join us: Expedia Group recognizes our success is dependent on the success of our people.
