The Senior Specialist, Digital Demand Generation is a key member of the Digital Marketing team at Thornburg Investment Management. He/She is responsible for the company’s email, mobile app and website demand generation efforts with the goal of constantly improving their end-to-end ‘Impression-to-Lead Conversion’ KPI performance in driving qualified lead volume growth. Email is a very important channel at Thornburg, allowing us to directly engage with our customer segments throughout their lifecycle. The successful candidate will have the winning mix of creative energy; experience successfully driving engagement through email campaigns, mobile apps and landing pages; adept at hands-on technical execution; an analytical mindset; and being extremely detail-oriented.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Understand business goals and requirements for all email and website projects. Assist in monthly planning, creating detailed project work-back schedules, communicating project needs and gaining consensus among cross-functional teams

Manage and update corporate web properties in support of the company’s business objectives (e.g., revenue, qualified leads, brand presence, awareness)

Work directly in our Marketing Automation platform (Pardot), establish campaigns in our CRM (Salesforce), develop landing pages and forms using our Content Management System (WordPress)

Leverage data to target, personalize and schedule emails and surveys to appropriate house file/contact list segments

Work with senior management to develop and implement A/B tests to realize constant KPI improvements

Design, Program, Track and Report on marketing campaign KPIs and test results with Salesforce Datorama, Google Analytics, Medallia, and more…

Leverage test results, survey tool respondents, digital metrics (e.g., site traffic, visitor paths, conversion rates) and best practices to recommend and implement campaign strategies designed to realize greater production efficiencies

Own QA and usability. Ensure emails and website are functioning properly.

Own documentation, maintenance and communication of the email and site content delivery schedules; work with team to ensure accuracy.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND FORMAL REQUIREMENTS:

6-8 years of managing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns in an e-Commerce or Demand Generation environment with deep email experience

Skilled in hand coding HTML and inline CSS related to email template design

Strong email, KPI reporting web design, and UX fundamentals

Experience with Marketing Automation Platforms (Pardot) and using Content Management Systems (WordPress)

Performance marketing, A/B testing, campaign optimization experience making data-driven decisions and implementing growth strategies in support of Demand Generation objectives

Able to multi-task, juggle and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines

Excellent communication skills; able to communicate professionally and effectively across all levels of the organization from external vendors to senior leadership

Positive self-starter willing and able to take direction and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Detailed with exceptional program and project management skills

Thrives in building business, motivated to learn business processes and systems, and use knowledge to suggest and help implement new ideas designed to realize production efficiencies.

Working knowledge of digital marketing reporting and diagnostic tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.), Google and Google Analytics certifications preferred but not mandatory. Datorama and Journey Mapping understanding preferred but not necessary.

General knowledge of the financial services and/or asset management industry a plus.

Bachelor’s degree

Remote option available for right candidate. Onsite presence in Santa Fe,NM required for first 6 months in role.
