Activation Marketing Manager

Los Angeles, CA, United States (flexible)

The Activation Marketing Manager is assigned to a specific geographic area responsible for increasing brand awareness, customer adoption and market share through MINDBODY’S programs and offerings. This is a remote position, working out of San Francisco.

They will also be responsible for activating the two-sided market by creating and managing consumer events and tradeshows as well as creating unique experiences that bring both sides together. This role is primarily focused on supporting, connecting, and building the MINDBODY brand within the community to all stakeholders. This position is responsible to call, visit, and meet with prospective and current MINDBODY customers. They will also have specific goals related to growing the Daily Active Use of our mobile App by consumers. The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial attitude and be comfortable managing and be prioritizing multiple initiatives designed to drive growth.


  • BA Degree or equivalent related experience
  • 4+ years field marketing experience, driving customer engagement and brand adoption through value add programs and events
  • Prior experience interacting with small business owners, with an understanding of their operations
  • Experience creating and executing events including promotion and staffing
  • Comfortable with technology and social media
  • Prior experience finding and nurturing local influencers
  • Experience leveraging social media platforms to enhance program effectiveness
  • Passion for the wellness industry


  • Identify and operationalize opportunities to build brand awareness
  • Plan, organize, and manage programs and events designed to accumulate new leads and referrals
  • Increase revenue through effective community programs
  • Core success metric will be revenue growth within the market
  • Candidate must be comfortable managing a budget while being outcome oriented
  • Be the face for assigned city for all MINDBODY communications including, brand education, engagement and support
  • Evaluate and report on weekly, monthly and quarterly performance metrics
  • Frequent travel within assigned region, expected travel outside of assigned region approx. 15%
  • Remote position, must demonstrate ability to effectively work remotely
