Forbes’ Post Sale, Live Associate is responsible for nurturing and growing client relationships through comprehensive understanding of client’s short and long-term strategies and high-level goals as it pertains to Forbes Live events. A Post Sale, Live Associate oversees client accounts once a Sales Director has closed the business. They serve as the primary point of contact for clients to help achieve the client’s goals prior to each summit, during and after – as well as for custom, one-off events.
Report directly to the Director, Client Success/Partnership Activations
Manage client relationships, expectations and short/long-term goals for sponsorship of ForbesLive Summits and custom events
Serve as the central and main liaison/contact between corporate partners and Forbes departments (Programming, Events, Social, Partnerships, PR etc.) on sponsorship implementation as outlined in Forbes-provided contracts/agreements
Execute, track and communicate sponsorship benefits precisely for Forbes-branded conferences and custom client events
Schedule and attend weekly/bi-weekly Summit status calls/meetings
Must possess a keen eye for detail, the ability to remain calm in stressful situations as well as solve on-the-fly issues that may arise with sponsors/partners
Work effectively with internal teams to answer questions for a smooth deliverable timeline as well as weekly agendas and post-call recaps, keeping in line with the signed agreements/contracts
Ensure appropriate and timely implementation and fulfillment of all sponsor deliverables as outlined in signed agreements, including but not limited to: agendas, Summit landing pages, custom web sites, on site signage and collateral, in-book branding, logo usage, client entertaining (i.e. Salon Dinners), RSVP lists, sponsorship questions as it relates to their agreements/contracts, etc.
Collaboratively work with internal teams to enhance activations for sponsors and executes all sponsor/partner deliverables to meet Forbes’ partners’ goals while keeping the integrity of the Forbes brand intact for events and summits
Act as lead on all client calls and e-mail correspondence and introduce other department leads/contacts (i.e. Programming, Events, Social) where and when appropriate
Develop client-facing materials for post-sale meetings and calls including comprehensive call agendas, call recaps, program details and deadlines
