Polis’ goal is to talk to all 300 million Americans in-person in the next 5 years in order to drive a world where people treat each other with respect and not just as the subject of advertising studies.
As a content marketing specialist with Polis, you will work with a dynamic team to create engaging content across multiple channels. This role requires you to have strong copywriting skills and ability to create high-quality content intended for marketing, web, and social. You will be working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once and report to the Director of Product. Because we have not done much content marketing in the past, we are looking for someone entrepreneurial who can come up with new ideas and test new concepts.
What you’ll do:
Send weekly emails about product updates and other relevant articles to our partners
Create a pipeline of content for articles/blogs that position Polis as a thought leader in the sales industry
Organize our team to schedule regular social media posts
Work collaboratively with multiple teams that touch every aspect of our business including product, marketing, sales, and go-to-market
Research and become an expert in the door-to-door sales industry
Create engaging sales collateral for use online and in the field
Build out and manage new ways to engage with Polis' partners and fans, including participating in event planning and attendance within key Polis industries
Assist in understanding the direct impact of your efforts on Polis as it relates to brand growth engagement, leads for sales team, etc...
What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or another related field
Experience creating content for marketing, print, web, and social audiences
Strong understanding of digital and social media platform content distribution
Ability to multi-task at a high level in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of SEO best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
Graphic design experience preferred but not necessary (Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator)
