HashiCorp's Early Career Program kicked off when our first class of interns joined us in Summer 2021.
The program seeks a diverse pool of interns from a wide variety of educational institutions and includes professional and personal growth opportunities to help them grow into future, full-time employees.
We offer a formalized university hiring program to bring on interns during the summer every year. At this time, we focus on incoming Seniors (current Juniors) in hopes of converting them to full-time employees the following year.

Built-in mechanisms for support and personal growth are pivotal for those early in their career or returning to the workforce. Our Personal Growth Plans help identify goals and proactively plan how to achieve them, and our #personal-growth-cohorts in Slack encourage Zapiens to prioritize their growth.
If folks need/want additional skills, our Conference & Education budget and Learning & Development resources enable them to develop and/or refine any skill they need. And for added support, all Zapiens can opt into internal coaching. Coaches act as sounding boards, share feedback on growth plans, and help folks settle into their work.
