Diversity reboot

Roquel Crutcher is PowerToFly’s first Chief of Staff where she supports the internal leadership team on special projects, assists both co-founders with external affairs, and supports PowerToFly internally as the company continues to grow.

Prior to PowerToFly, Roquel dedicated herself to advocating for equity in K-12 schools, institutions of higher learning formerly at Next100, Teach For America & KIPP Schools.

Roquel was the founding president of American University’s NAACP chapter as well an NAACP Next Gen Fellow, a member of the inaugural class of KIPP Alumni Leadership Accelerator fellows, a New Profit Millennial Impact Fellow and an Aspen Ideas Fellow. In 2021, the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools named Roquel a 30 Under 30 Changemaker for her work to combat educational inequity and racism.
