The position of Accounts Payable Coordinator will begin with a heavy emphasis on data entry of invoices into our accounts payable sub-ledger. In addition to being directly responsible for the processing of daily incoming invoices, the position will evolve to include processing payment runs, managing the AP mailbox, calculating Sales & Use tax and assisting with special projects and additional duties as needed. The Accounts Payable Coordinator must establish and maintain strong relationships and communication with both our internal and external contacts. The Accounts Payable Coordinator will provide efficient, effective problem solving and resolution. Special projects and tasks will be required as needed such as monthly reconciliation of critical vendor’s accounts, conference calls with vendors regarding issues and weekly updates to management regarding AP status. The Accounts Payable Coordinator will manage critical vendors with a high level of support and detail to ensure accounts are kept current.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, a quick learner, and will have the ability to efficiently manage various high-priority responsibilities. Candidate must possess intermediate excel skills and exceptional communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Customer Obsessed company whose main priority is to evaluate what would work best for the customer and ‘work backwards’, we bring passion and dedication when working with External and Internal Partners. In this role, you will need to:
· Be responsible for processing high volume of AP invoices through data entry in our A/P sub-ledger
· Resolve, research and escalate invoice to PO variances for price, quantity and receiving
· Monitor and manage daily AP Stats to ensure invoices are processed timely and prompt pay discounts are taken
· Accurately calculate and apply Sales & Use tax
· Actively participate in identifying and making improvements to AP-related workflows/processes/software
· Manage AP mailbox to ensure timely response and resolution regarding payment inquires, processing issues and other requests
· Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
· Audit Employee Expense Reports

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable
· Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
· Superior math skills and strong attention to detail
· Proven ability to interact with various departments across an organization
· Strong Intermediate Excel skills
· Comprehend the sense of urgency regarding critical vendors and payments
· Strong sense of urgency with all work-related tasks
· Ability to operate in a high-energy, high-intensity environment
· Self-motivated and organized with good time management skills
· Entrepreneurial attitude and work ethic
· Ability to multi-task with various projects
