- Lead Financial Data Analysts have a significant input to the ratings and research process by analysing financial statements and data provided by Issuers
- Possess Accounting and Capital Market knowledge and judgment to perform financial statement analysis, adjust reported data per relevant methodology requirements.
- Perform Trend analysis and present rationales for inconsistent ratios/metrics with relevant research in the financial documents
- Support Research publications by conducting fundamental research on various financial documents and update relevant models and templates to generate Graphs and Charts
- Support Rating publications by updating quantitative data in the reports by leveraging financial statements, Key metrics, and Ratings Scorecard
- Support Issuer outreach program by preparing presentations with Quantitative data, Charts, and supplementary information
- Regularly interact with Moody's Rating analysts regarding financial and operational data needed for analysis and publications
- The team is regularly provided with valuable training classes and interactions with Rating analysts as part of knowledge transfer and career growth

- Minimum Post graduate degree: specializations in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience required
- Knowledge or prior experience in Financial Research, Report writing, and Credit analysis would be an advantage
- Advance understanding of various company filings (Annual reports, Investor Presentations, Solvency reports) and should be comfortable with secondary research
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and particularly Excel, such as pivot tables, lookups, etc.
- Individual must be organized, dependable, able to multi-task, manage priorities, display initiative, can work independently in a demanding and fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, communication (verbal & written), and interpersonal skills are required
- Candidate must have the ability to quickly transition as priorities change to meet demands
