Role
- Manage Debit and Prepaid portfolios and product value propositions
- Understand and anticipate future market dynamics; conduct competitive analysis and market research to capture issuer and end user needs
- Work cross-functionally to drive local product and segment strategies
- Lead product development localization efforts; strong focus on developing digitally enabled solutions for customers and consumers through relevant technology, engaging internal and external partners, and gaining cross functional buy-in
- Collaborate with team members to develop go-to-market strategies, understanding competitive trends, taking into account regulatory considerations
- Identify, define and drive platform development initiatives, writing business requirements and use cases, leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with technology partners
- Set portfolio objectives and monitor performance
- Provides consultative product leadership acting as the Debit and Prepaid subject matter experts, externally representing the team at customer meetings, workshops and events
All About You
- Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, particularly in the debit and prepaid spaces
- Demonstrated experience leading product and technology projects to deliver new solutions and bring them to market
- Analytical capabilities and can apply these in defining and executing product plans
- Strong ability to communicate complex ideas and solutions
- Strong understanding of competitive offerings and industry trends; international markets knowledge/experience a plus
- Strong problem solving skills with an ability to identify key issues, structure analysis, develop solid business cases and provide recommendations effectively
- Good relationship skills and can communicate persuasively within the organization as well as with customers and partners
- Good project management and presentation skills
- Ability to drive results and work independently in a self-directed manner while operating in a team environment
