We are seeking a Campaign Lead Mission Designer who will drive the creation of compelling and challenging mission experiences within a Triple A Campaign experience. This person is hungry to raise the bar in third person action design, setting new standards of what game experiences can be.


They will work directly with the Campaign Design Director, Creative Director and Lead Narrative Designer to create the high level vision for the Campaign and work with a large cross disciplinary team to execute on this vision.

  • Lead the mission team bringing together all disciplines to execute on cohesive high quality experiences for the player
  • Partner with core gameplay to build missions around the core mechanics that provide challenge and player choice
  • Work with both the lead level designer and lead technical level designer to drive the level design team, mission requirements and quality bar while supporting the game vision
  • Own the team mission review process and reviews with stakeholders, ensuring alignment between team and leadership
  • Deliver constructive and actionable feedback on Missions to a cross discipline group of developers
  • Partner with Production to scope and plan missions through deliverables and scheduling
  • Identify mission risks and propose mitigation plans
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and iteration across the team
  • Drive the creative process and look for ways to continuously improve
  • Experienced design leader that has shipped multiple Triple A titles from Pre-production through to final in a lead or senior design role
  • Strong understanding of competitive franchises and can speak directly to their mission designs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Top notch collaborator that embodies the spirit of working through others
  • People manager that is motivated by seeing direct reports succeed under your direction and career management
  • Calm under pressure with acumen for working in fast paced high intensity environments
  • Understanding of level design processes and tools (hands on experience a plus)
  • Working experience in one or more game engines, with an understanding of workflows and limitations (experience with UE4 a plus)
