The Role:

Morning Consult is looking for an entrepreneurial, business-oriented product associate to help bridge the gap between strategy and execution. Product associates will work side-by-side with a diverse group of engineers, designers, and client services professionals to gather user feedback and help translate requirements into elegant solutions. In this role, you’ll work across the organization on a diverse range of projects – from driving engagement with our core Brand Intelligence platform to building internal tools that help Morning Consult scale.

Success in this role requires a service-oriented mindset, adaptive communication skills, and the organizational skills to maintain a strategic focus amidst competing priorities. Intellectual curiosity and ability to own projects from end-to-end is a must. Ideal candidates will thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous start-up environments, and feel empowered to think creatively, take expansive ownership, and implement processes where they make sense.

As one of the first members of the Product team at Morning Consult, those in this role will not only have significant opportunities to shape the structure and processes of the team, but also the overall growth and culture of a high-growth company

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end to end execution of client-facing products
  • Work closely with teams across Morning Consult to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions
  • Provide recommendations for improving internal tools and processes
  • Support release of new features by testing them and writing comprehensive collateral and documentation
  • Tackle new and ad hoc initiatives and projects with enthusiasm, gusto, and diligence

Desired Skills:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 1+ years of related experience, preferably coordinating data, content or software projects
  • Comfort working in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment
  • Low ego, consummate team-player; comfortable working across departments and job levels
  • Solid analytical skills, proficient in Excel
  • Strong outcome orientation; sees things through to the finish
  • Rigorous attention to detail
  • Willing to take feedback, learn and grow; an ethos of continuous self-improvement
