Manager, Process Improvements

The Global Operations, part of the Finance Organization, is responsible for Client Support, Product delivery, Export Compliance, Pricing and New Product Introduction, Process Automation, and Business Digital Transformation. Our team has many touch points across the company and with customers. We are a globally dispersed team who work well together and make things happen seamlessly. We are looking for a seasoned Manager with Process Improvement expertise. In this role, you will be working across Operations and larger Finance teams to identify opportunities to simplify complex processes and eliminate inefficiencies. The individual will also collect and analyze data for supporting recommendations, manage formal process documents and collaborate on project teams and broader enterprise initiatives to represent business for changes that may impact department processes. In thisrole, you will be a process ambassador across Operations and Finance, advising the business teams with strategic and impactful solutions and challenging the status-quo. Responsibilities - Analyze operations and identify opportunities for efficiency improvement and waste/redundancy removal - Day to day oversight of multiple processes: monitor, report, and plan process improvement or redesign initiatives; define, establish, and manage process controls; identify process improvement opportunities and implement them through collaboration with other groups; make final recommendations for approval on changes - Develop Lean strategies to include specific goals, objectives, timetables, action plans, to be targeted by high impact teams - Train and mentor teams and staff in the principles, methods, and applications of the Lean process to foster continuous improvement efforts that are an integral part of the change management processes - Manage a small team of business process experts who will work with rest of Operations team and the larger Finance org - Conduct mapping and process charting to establish and validate production standards and to troubleshoot and streamline workflows - Prepare and make presentations and status reports to keep leaders abreast of priorities, progress, and results Minimum Qualifications - 5 years of experience in leading site level continuous improvement efforts and projects using Lean methodologies - Superior oral and written communication skills; able to clearly communicate and present findings and recommendations to team members all the way through senior management - Lean Six Sigma Black Belt through an accredited organization or equivalent experience - Results oriented, will take ownership and proactively drive projects - Great influencer across multiple organizations and various levels of management - Experience in team development problem-solving, conflict resolution, building cooperative relationships, and effective communications - Quantitative and general problem-solving skills; superior critical thinking - Strong interpersonal skills and team player - Proven track record of developing, training, and coaching - BS in a related field
