Location: Portland, OR- United States JOB ID: 19WD34599 Position Overview Our team of security experts helps Autodesk design, build, deploy and maintain secure products. We are embedding security in the full spectrum of how we build our products from inception, design, development, testing to how we are running them in the cloud as well as how we are responding to any existing or emerging threats to our products or the building blocks of our products and services. Our job is to be one step ahead of our adversaries and use expertise, technology, and other resources to thwart their efforts to compromise our products and the environment in which they operate. Our team keeps a single-minded focus on protecting our customer’s data and their investment in our products by strengthening our applications, underlying services, and network. Autodesk Security is seeking a Security Solutions Architect to help design, review, and build critical internal security solutions at scale. This is a technical, influential role that will appeal to a candidate with a bias to action and an affinity for learning new technologies. The ideal candidate is autonomous but collaborative and has deep expertise in one or more security domains but also enjoys solving problems in areas outside of their comfort zone. This candidate will be joining a team of active community participants – speakers at AppSec California, AWS re:Invent, and DevSecCon, a founding contributor to the IEEE Center for Security Design, and open source contributors. Similar community participation from the candidate is encouraged. Responsibilities - Research emerging technologies and maintain awareness of current security risks in support of security enhancement and development efforts - Perform POCs and evaluations of these technologies and methods, deliver reference implementations, and plan deployment and operation at scale across Autodesk - Identify and provide detailed security and configuration requirements to cloud, application, and enterprise teams - Perform security architecture assessments, create and drive security standards, and develop operations lifecycle requirements and design capabilities to hold teams accountable to reducing risk in their service offerings to maximize trust with Autodesk customers - Perform architecture/design reviews for application, infrastructure, and network designs - Act as a Security SME/Consultant for projects and inquiries from product, development, and IT teams Minimum Qualifications - 8+ years’ experience in multiple Security domains including but not limited to Cloud, Enterprise, Information, Offensive, Operations, Application, Incident Response, and Threat Intelligence - Extensive AWS, GCP, or Azure experience - Deep expertise in more than one of the following areas: Security Architecture, Security Consulting, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Network Security, Security Engineering, Incident Handling, Active Adversary Threat Management, Intrusion Detection, Firewalls, Vulnerability Management, Windows and Unix security, Encryption, and Endpoint Security, DevOps, CI/CD, Systems Administration - Familiarity with SOA principles, CI/CD, and Microservice/Container orchestration and architecture - Experience designing, building and operating security solutions in enterprise or service provider cloud environments - At least one of the following certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Professional Cloud Security Engineer (GCP), CISSP Preferred Qualifications - Advanced interpersonal skills to effectively promote ideas and collaboration at the various levels of the organization - Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills, ingenuity, and the ability to work as part of a team - Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment - Proven ability to communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical audience; ability to work effectively as part of remediation teams #ADSKSecurityCareers About Autodesk With Autodesk software, you have the power to Make Anything.
