Responsibilities

Azure Key Vault is a fundamental building block for services and customer applications where sensitive data must be kept secure. As a critical part of Azure, Key Vault goes wherever Azure goes. As a platform, Key Vault gives customers the means to easily and quickly protect data in the cloud and integrate with their apps & services. Backed by hardware-based cryptography, you know your data is safe, secure and accessible only by you. We’re looking for senior technical talent with Linux experience to help us evolve our hardware & software architecture, leading us to a future where all services use Key Vault to keep their data safe. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 11+ years of experience as a software development engineer in the commercial software industry
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing & operating services on Linux
  • Experience shipping services and high-availability infrastructure
  • BS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent industry experience

 

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

 

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
