PowerToFly is searching for a high-energy, driven recruiter to join our team of contract Talent Advocates. You will act as part of our global Recruiting and Delivery Team finding candidates in engineering, product, sales or finance to engage on client assignments with a DEI perspective. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver, has a strong work ethic and pays close attention to detail. You will be provided with a training and an onboarding, after which we will deploy you based on client demand.

PowerToFly is a completely distributed team with employees in various time zones, so excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. PowerToFly Talent Advocates work from countries like Argentina, Ecuador, Uganda, Ukraine and Palestine (among many others). Responsibilities:

  • Use tools like the PowerToFly database, LinkedIn, Seekout and similar to find prospects that match the client target audience
  • Create and execute content campaigns to engage these prospects and interest them in the target company
  • Create a great first impression with our candidates, advocate for them and coach them throughout the interview process with our clients
  • Over time, act as an expert for a talent pool in a specific geographic area by understanding the talent market dynamics and hiring needs for our clients, generating talent pipelines, engaging with potential candidates, and evaluating their fit for open roles
  • Schedule and coordinate talent/client interviews, advise talent on best practices
  • Solve problems and produce solutions by collecting and analyzing data, identifying alternatives when circumstances change and seeking out responsibilities beyond the job
  • Over time screen candidates and assess them for technical skills and cultural fit

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills in English
  • +3 years of recruiting experience (IT/Tech industry highly preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is strongly preferred
  • Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • High energy and positive attitude
  • Passionate about customer service and DEI

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Boolean search, ATS and sourcing tools
  • Great spoken and written client facing communication skills
  • Experience with Linkedin, Slack, Google calendar
