Job Purpose:
The Director Program Management has overall accountability and responsibility for the effective Management of multiple Programs and/or Projects through the Project Life Cycle. The Director will provide support for new programs, lead program-related communications, and take full program management ownership of related activities performed by multi-disciplined cross-functional teams
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Owns Project Management through complete project life cycle from concept, product development, supplier selection, launch, post–production performance, and lessons learned.

Serve as the main interface between Engineering, Business and Operations for Global and/or regional projects.

Manages a global group of Project Managers to ensure execution of all company initiatives.

Manages resources in conjunction with functional managers, production, and sub-contractors.

Assigns, schedules, trains, reviews, and monitors project work to ensure that progress is within expected guidelines and is completed on time and within budget.

Effectively manages project risk through mitigation planning

Identifies, tracks, monitors, and communicates project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the development stages.

Effectively applies Project Management methodology.

Build relationships with key areas responsible for the decision-making process.

Support PMO on new ideas and continuous improvement plans.

What We’re Looking For:

Masters Degree in Project/Program management or related discipline (preferred)
-
10 years’ experience in Project/Program Management in an international matrix organization
-
Excellent understanding of interdisciplinary projects
-
Proven track record of implementing and delivering revenue-driving products to customer

Experience in the management of SOP projects
-
Team leader skills and confident in customer relations, excellent communication, leadership, team building and people management skills

High degree of goal-orientation and self-management

A blend of management, technical, creative, business, and marketing skills

Good networking skills

Sense of responsibility, business intellect and entrepreneurial initiative

Prepared to travel on business (internationally)

Confident in conducting negotiations

Ability to prioritize among competing opportunities, balance customer needs with business priorities, and articulate the rationale behind decisions

Must be well versed with Professional Services financial acumen such as revenue, budgets & profitability, etc. and managing multi-million-dollar budgets and projects

Willingness to learn new things and implement them as the industry evolves
