Marketing Communications Manager

Location: Montreal, QC- Canada

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Communications professional to join our team. The right person will bring strategic thinking, communications expertise, energy and creativity to ensure our Marketing teams are informed on new initiatives, program and processes, and also to create content as well as developing stories and presentation for internal and external stakeholders. As a Marketing Communications person, you will be part of the Marketing Training & Enablement team under Marketing Operations &Technology, in Business Strategy and Marketing (BSM) team. Responsibilities - Think strategically to develop and execute annual internal communications plan, including multiple communication streams/strategies to support MOT internal and external communications goals - Content writing creation – write communication for presentations, newsletters, announcements, scripts etc. - Define KPI to measure communication success - Communications planning: consolidate information, plan, prioritize and execute communications for MOT team as well as broad to the BSM organization with different types of content - Gap analysis: identify gaps in knowledge within tools, systems, processes to fulfill those gaps with the right content - Manage, prepare and monitor meetings - Create and manage send out of communication to various teams such as general information, news, alerts - Create, manage and execute communications coming from Marketing Operations & Technology teams - Stakeholder management - Responsibilities also include creating strategies, action plans and decisions around what needs to be communicated and how to achieve the best results Minimum Qualifications - Excellent writer, with the skills to distill complex content into clear, concise and engaging communications - Strong storyteller with the ability to create compelling narratives, in various format, including video, in support of our business and product strategies - Ability to be flexible, pro-active, work under deadlines, and ensure quality and accuracy - Focused and performance driven - Strong attention to detail and project management skills - Four-year college degree (BS or BA), preferably in English, communications or journalism - Change management skills - Ability to travel Preferred Qualifications - MBA - At least 5-yrs of experience in employee communications and/or public relations, communication experience
