Position Summary

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Under the close supervision of Assistant Manager or Technical Manager
    • develop tactful, diplomatic, and polite customer service skills.
    • Develop hands-on skills and knowledge into other product lines
  • Work independently…
    • To provide high standard service and support to customer for Utilities products on a dedicated Service Contract or on an ad-hoc basis
    • Follow and execute service and maintenance schedules as per indicated on the signed annexure
    • Follow internal procedures to procure consumables and parts for service support
    • To record and log all repairs, service and preventive maintenance on e-templates for sign off agreement on completion with the customer
    • Perform basic troubleshooting, basic repairs and replace faulty components for Utilities product
    • To communicate with the customers on a daily basis to review any questions/ issues or inquiry they might have in regards to the serviced products
  • Comply with all requirements from Casino Operators on access control and equipment /parts procedures on and off property
  • Follow stipulated Occupational Health and Safety procedures in the workplace
  • Ensure that tools and equipment are kept in proper, safe, and working condition
  • Travel from time to time for product compliance, game show setup or trainings
  • Maintain company confidentiality by following policies, procedures and compliance policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Basic electrical/mechanical skills – trade / education / demonstrated interests.
  • Basic knowledge of electricity, computers, and electronics.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and service manuals.
  • Understanding of what “customer service” means.
  • Pleasant personality, with the ability to maintain composure under stress.

Experience, Education and Qualification:

  • High school certificate or equivalent
  • Hold and maintain a valid driver license in the jurisdiction employed.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a valid gaming card/license.

Working Conditions:

  • The work conditions are representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations

  • Ensure compliance with safe work practices
  • Ensure not to put self and others at risk
  • Use and maintain equipment properly and ensure that the work area is free of hazards
  • Report all incidents, injuries and near misses
  • Report any hazard or accident to the supervisor or manager as soon as it becomes apparent
  • Advise your manager if you do not believe you have the skills, training or equipment to safely perform your duties
