Being part of the engineering team, you will have a chance to participate in aeraulic and acoustic technical studies and support cross-regional (European) projects and contribute to the improvement of Cummins gensets solutions. You will also be:

1. Aeraulic modelling

Finding and studying solutions for optimizing ventilation to achieve the required objectives for the operation of one or more generating sets in a room or soundproof enclosure for new buildings/sites or existing premises:

·       Optimisation and sizing of special equipment for buildings;

·       Optimisation of installations, layout, ventilation, flow rate in accordance to architecture specifications;

·       Definition and choice of supplier products (extractors, insufflators, air inlet grilles, ducts, etc.);

·       Calculation of flow rates and pressure drop rate;

2. Acoustic modelling

Finding noise reduction solutions that technically meet the required objectives and in accordance with the specific constraints linked to the site and the operation of one or more generating set(s) in a soundproof room or enclosure for new buildings/sites or existing premises:

·       Find solutions by simulating several generator sets installations;

·       Checking and following current regulations and specifications;

·       Create calculation notes and/or model the entire project using special software such as Ray Plus, CadnaA or other relevant tools).

·       Definition and choice of special products (acoustic baffles, sound insulation, acoustic doors, etc.)

3. Technical calculations

·       Making the design of genset noise installations for buildings and enclosures

·       Running calculation/simulation on the noise to define what would be the outside noise

·       Running calculation/simulation on the pressure drop
