Job description

  • As a Senior Application Developer, deliver solutions for critical service that is built on client server architecture using middleware components and database.
  • Lead the technology team of 2-4 members in one workstreams within the service platform.
  • Provide Level 3 support for the current service and take lead in in the analysis and resolution of issues reported in Production and UAT.
  • Perform analysis and execute POCs to improve applications that currently hosted on AWS platform.
  • Provide design and implementation guidance to team members and ensure services are delivered as per the firm SDLC policies.
  • Collaborate with a wide team of stakeholders from Security, Ops, Risk and Business functions to manage expectations regarding technical solution delivery.


  • 3+ years of IT experience on server side development.
  • Excellent Core Java with good understanding of multithreading, database access, performance tuning and design patterns.Experience in a diverse set of technologies including SQL, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, Junit, Mockito, Apache Spark, Storm and related technologies.
  • Practical experience in developing software products/solutions that are deployed on cloud (as PaaS,SaaS) using a client/server or peer-to-peer architectures is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on working experience with messaging middleware like IBM MQ or TIBCO EMS.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux systems.
  • Experience with DB2 or other relational databases. 
  • SQL Skills, Shell Scripting, Python.
  • Possesses knowledge of complex database concepts and ensures project teams are effectively employing appropriate database design techniques.
  • Possesses ability to incorporate security and P&C (performance and capacity) requirements in to project deliverables by successfully employing available tools.
  • Owned and delivered projects by setting and managing expectations with various stakeholders using clear articulate concise written and verbal communication.
  • Experienced in delegating tasks and overseeing deliverables provided by internal or external vendors.
  • Demonstrated organization skills by handling multiple projects simultaneously and ability to present his/her deliverables using documents, slides and other available tools.
