Job Description

You will be responsible to run the operational activities on site in close cooperation with numerous internal and external suppliers. You will manage your team in order to provide the best service and quality to our (local) customers. In this position, you will be part of our local leadership team, collaborating closely with different functions (e.g. commercial, finance) in order to meet our organizational goals. 

Tasks

  • Processing and preparation of sales orders through production jobs planning, control of the plotter and label service area, with a focus on continuous process optimization

  • Final inspection of the products against agreed product specifications and individual agreements with customers

  • Handling of material procurement and management including warehousing, call offs and forecasting materials supplies with selected vendors, 

  • Management responsibility for all colleagues in the plotter and label service, leading the local Team in order to achieve agreed KPI, 

  • Playing a key role as Team Leader, ensuring to maintain the high-level of performance and knowledge in the team

  • Processing and handling of complaints

  • Budget planning

  • Ensuring compliance with occupational safety measures and regulations

  • Ideally, revision of customer logos using graphics programs (Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator)


Qualifications

What do we expect from you? - Your qualifications:

  • Completed vocational training in a production environment or equivalent qualification

  • You have several years of professional experience in a manufacturing company, in the textile industry would be an asset

  • You are experienced in workplace management and production planning

  • You have first experience with quality inspections and you are aware of basic lean manufacturing tools,  

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • You act in a data-driven and process-oriented manner

  • Fluent language skills in German and English
