We are looking for a talented Investigator to join our team specializing in Ethics and Compliance in Jamestown, New York.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Contributes to the development and execution of company-wide strategies, initiatives and programs focused on supporting a positive and inclusive work environment.

  • Ensures all content is aligned to company policies and compliant with legislative requirements.

  • Provides subject matter expertise to business leadership and human resources on all matters pertaining to right environment.

  • Executes the right environment roadmap to drive global direction in the short to medium term to ensure global initiatives and programs are aligned with the right environment aspirational goals.

  • Supports the development of key performance indicators to measure elements contributing to a positive work environment. Monitors assessment results and manages global improvement initiatives based on outcomes.

  • Maintains the right environment tools and resources to enable business leadership and human resources assess their work environment. Provides coaching and direction to managers and human resources on the appropriate utilization of tools.

  • Engages with leaders and human resources to determine if either a coaching (low-touch) or consulting (high-touch) approach is appropriate, subject to the right environment challenges and opportunities presented.

  • Develops an understanding of business needs and engages with managers and human resources to identify appropriate actions and solutions.

  • Develops communications to business leadership, human resources and employees that are aligned to the right environment communication strategy

  • Provides appropriate data to third party consultants/providers in the right environment assessment process

  • Analyses and interprets data generated from the ethics investigation process to drive functional improvements in current policies, practices and processes.

  • Analyses data from key performance indicators and other data sources to generate prescriptive and predictive right environment trends and correlations (statistical cause and effect analysis etc).

  • Manages and/or supports ad hoc global-wide projects with the aim of improving a positive and inclusive work environment in Cummins.

  • Identifies opportunities for new and improved learning and development programs and initiatives, creates the content and recommends appropriate communication and delivery.

  • Coaches and mentors junior members of the team.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience required.

  • This is a remote role, but should be close to Cummins location

  • Must be able to work cross functionally within other departments

  • Will have to work on multiple cases at a time- must be organized

  • Must be able to be proficient, pay attention to detail and have strong communication skills

  • Must be able to work independently and efficiently

  • Strong conflict resolution skills are a must

  • Should have strong analytics background

  • Will report to the Investigation Manager

  • Must have compassion for the position as well as victims and all parties involved

  • Intermediate level of experience required.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary rate commensurate with experience, range: $86,400-129,600.00. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
