Within WW Learning, the Sales Skills team develops and leads cross-segment, role-based learning programs focused on increasing professional sales skills capabilities, to measurably accelerate performance of our global field teams.


As part of the Employee and Future Skills organization, the Industry Program Manager will define, develop and implement the capability development approach to build sales skills and industry acumen across commercial sales roles. This includes understanding the knowledge and skill needs for field roles, building integrated and innovative learning experiences to develop industry specific sales capabilities and measuring competency and business impact. This role will partner closely with key internal stakeholders across WW Learning, WW Industry team, Marketing, Services, the segments (ATU, SMC, OCP) and the Field. 


  • Lead capability needs assessment to develop business aligned sales skilling capabilities plans, working closely with the field, role owners, and industry business leaders.
  • Deliver a comprehensive portfolio of offerings to advance sales and industry knowledge, skills and capabilities across roles, resulting in greater business results.
  • Be a trusted advisor to WW Industry team, Marketing, ATU, SMC, OCP Field and WWL teams to define and implement innovative approaches to building needed capabilities in order to exceed business goals.
  • Actively engage with the field, role owners, marketing and industry communities to lead sales skills discussions as part of the industry and sales rhythm of the business.
  • Liaison with key partners/stakeholders and team members to orchestrate on going alignment activities.
  • Demonstrate industry proficiency as required to build credibility with industry teams and provide value as the WWL Sales Skills Industry Program Manager and business enabler.
  • Partner closely with field, industry and marketing teams to understand industry-specific solution maps, product roadmaps, updates, launches, go-to-market plans, and overall objectives. 
  • Optimize content for the best delivery, accessibility, search ability, and usefulness for the learner.
  • Build and continuously test and assess the impact of the content for the learner, and in enabling the business to achieve its objectives.
  • Ensure deep understanding of our build-with and co-sell motions with partners, to keep industry learning plans relevant and current.
  • Partner across Sales Skills programs and with peers to ensure an industry lens is developed across programs, consistently.
  • Promote accessibility standards across business groups in development of content.
  • 5+ years of program/project management or other relevant professional experience is required.
  • 5+ years of sales, sales enablement or sales operations experience is required.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a relevant industry (i.e., automotive, education, financial services, government, healthcare, manufacturing, media & communications or retail & consumer goods) is required.
  • Learning and development expertise in the various capability enablement approaches (e.g., formal learning, knowledge management, coaching, practice, simulations, etc.), across modern modalities.
  • Experience with senior leaders, demonstrating strong executive maturity, business acumen, communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups to deliver global solutions.
  • Self-starter with proven results building and creating business plans with measurement results.
  • Ability to influence without authority.
  • Established project and program management fundamentals.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects with cross-group stakeholders and effectively leverage available resources to drive results.
  • Demonstrates agility - shifting from strategic to tactical depending on the needs of the day and the audience. 
  • Team player – leverage and contribute effectively to the work other others and works well in matrixed team environment. 
  • MBA, Master’s degree, preferred
  • Ability to travel globally 10-20%
