The Professional Information Business at Dow Jones plays a critical role in the delivery of key B2B products in order to be the power behind global businesses. We are a truly global business with a significant proportion of our customer base coming from outside the US. We provide information; data and analytics to help support and drive our customers key business decisions, and protect their organizations from risk. The PIB business is broken into five customer focused verticals to solve for user solutions: Knowledge & Insight, News Alerts & Data, DNA, Risk & Compliance and Partnerships.

These business units are continually looking to develop innovative new products that will further serve our customer needs.

Position Statement:

The Know Your Business Partner (KYBP) product suite is the Dow Jones Risk and Compliance Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) solution, predominantly targeting the corporate market.

The KYBP Delivery Manager is responsible for the coordination and overall management of all client implementations and change control implementations. This role will be part of the Client Delivery and Operations Team and will require regular interaction and liaison with the KYBP Technical Team. It is the responsibility of the Delivery Manager to ensure all client implementations are scheduled accurately and that all technical build dependencies are clearly understood and communicated with the assigned Technical Account Manager (TAM) and the KYBP Technical Team. Individual projects plans will be owned by the Delivery Manager, coordinating with the TAM and the overall KYBP implementation programme plan (including Sprint deliverable scheduling) will be the responsibility of the Delivery Manager. Management of the budget and resource scheduling for each implementation will be managed by the Delivery Manager, in cooperation with the regional Technical Account Director and the Head of TPRM (Third Party Risk Management).

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day delivery of the end-to-end project (or multiple projects) working with the CDO and Technology teams along with the Head of TPRM to organise, manage and deliver medium to large scale deployments to clients.
  • Ability to interact with customers and handle delivery issues.
  • A strong understanding of the sales process and how that feeds into delivery.
  • Software organisation experience, preferably implementation and configuration.
  • Active contribution to and development of the KYBP Team processes, products and operational effectiveness.
  • Drive implementation of KYBP by tracking activity and working with the assigned TAM to resolve any problems that might arise.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer implementations. Prioritising and scheduling based on the clearly understood technical project build and Sprint schedule.
  • Ensure client approvals and sign off for Change Control, UAT and Go Live are completed in partnership with the TAM.
  • Assist in the scoping and budget requirements of new implementations and change control projects.
  • Ensure that all company and department processes and policies are adhered to.
  • Conduct insightful analysis into ongoing or one-time operational issues - highlighting relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.


  • Strong experience as a Software Delivery Manager with successful project delivery.
  • Comprehensive technical know-how including a good understanding of the full software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies (Scrum).
  • Advanced communication, organisation and planning skills.
  • Strong Project Management experience, with Programme Management capability preferrable.
  • Demonstrable experience in scoping, budgeting, scheduling and delivering complex project implementations.
  • Ability to understand client and product requirements and influence prioritisation decisions with senior management.
  • Excellent team player, working across a number of functional, technical and client project teams.
  • Advanced stakeholder management, managing relationships with senior stakeholders, both within Dow Jones and externally within our clients.
