Job Purpose (Job Summary):
The Director of Digital Marketing will partner with our enterprise wealth management clients to drive the creation, implementation, and execution of multi-channel digital marketing strategies to accelerate client acquisition, improve retention and grow revenue. The right candidate must be flexible, highly adaptable, extremely well organized, disciplined, and creative in capturing growth and marketing opportunities. We are looking for an experienced leader to set the vision and roadmap for our digital marketing services solution and tailor engagement based on the experience and needs of our clients. This individual should have the passion and vision to see what’s possible, make recommendations, take the lead, and drive to make things happen. The candidate must be an experienced leader with a strong background in Digital Marketing and experience working on or with B2C platforms. Candidate must be disciplined, creative, and technically savvy with strong data driven analytic capabilities focused on marketing and engagement initiatives designed to optimize the process of attracting prospects, converting them to customers and deepening relationships. Strong analytic, communication, partnership and marketing skills are required.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Partner with Jemstep enterprise clients to build, develop and execute compelling lead generation, engagement, conversion and relationship-deepening digital marketing strategies
- Over time, build, develop and grow a unified, high-functioning and influential team who are passionate and experienced at executing effective marketing programs
- Develop a digital marketing playbook for initial pilot through full product launch and beyond for multiple client journeys
- Drive a client-focused decision-making discipline that maximizes usability, user satisfaction and the efficacy of digital marketing initiatives
- Bring experience-based expertise to develop credibility to Jemstep clients
- Leverage strong analytic capabilities with ability to monitor and analyze data to develop insights and drive actions for marketing campaign improvement and optimization
- Build meaningful relationships with client C-Level face-offs, marketing leaders, business and client service contacts, and critical project stakeholders
- Work with and manage agency resources, as needed, to support marketing initiatives
- Work closely with Jemstep product management and data analytics team to define required data and analytic tools
- Serve as resident expert on A/B testing best practices to produce the most effective content possible
- Develop and design execution strategy for obtaining customer feedback and deriving actions to improve results
- Be comfortable authoring and guiding partners and consultants in creation of compelling content across multiple channels including Website, SEO, SEM, Mobile, Video, Social Media, Email and print
- Take responsibility for the performance of digital programs and projects – developing an optimization strategy for all digital initiatives
- Research and identify new opportunities/areas of growth to increase traffic and funnel conversion
Work Experience / Knowledge:
- 5+ years of full-time experience in a digital consumer-focused marketing role within banking/IBD environments or SaaS fintech companies
- Prior experience building high impact digital marketing teams
- A digital marketing innovator with a strong background in copywriting, influencer marketing, content marketing, SEM, SEO and Social Media with experience building and managing campaigns that deliver results
- Strong domain knowledge of industry and campaign success metrics
- Strong track record of driving strategic digital programs to market, and generating buy-in from senior stakeholders
- Strong track record of leading projects to successful, on-time delivery
- Experience managing relationships with external digital agencies and client executives
- Previous content creation experience with a primary focus on message effectiveness
- Demonstrable improved performance across previous campaigns based upon usage and adoption metrics

- Ability to travel 25%
Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required. Master’s Degree a plus.
