Job Description

Your Role:

The Analyst, Social Media, QQQ is an essential part of our ambitions to more strategically editorialize the stories we tell through the planning, creation and distribution of Invesco QQQ social media content.

Partnering closely with Invesco QQQ Marketing, Compliance, Corporate Communications, internal design team, and multiple agency partners, our goal is to execute best in class social media strategies and initiatives while aligning to Invesco QQQ business priorities. In this fast-paced and fluid environment, this role will be responsible for organizing, prioritizing and executing – balancing business objectives with agility and an innovative mindset to test and learn and be at the forefront of engagement in the social media community.  

This role will be actively involved in strategy, content generation, process development, community development, and campaign management for high profile Invesco QQQ campaigns. In addition, this role will assist with defining the social media experience for Invesco QQQ on new and emerging platforms.

You will be responsible for:

  • Work with the social team and Invesco QQQ Marketing to implement social media strategies to build awareness and increase engagement with new and existing audiences in support of Invesco QQQ’s overall business objectives.
  • Oversee and participate in the creation and publishing of Invesco QQQ social content on all platforms, including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Hootsuite Amplify and other emerging platforms. This includes brainstorming and originating content ideas, writing/editing copy, maintaining QQQ social media calendar in Airtable to identify and report on scheduling overlaps/gaps, and managing and tracking monthly metrics including followers, impressions, clicks, engagements, and reach.   
  • Partner with Invesco QQQ Marketing and external agencies to execute influencer campaigns, elevating Invesco QQQ messaging and content using their own social platforms.
  • Support Invesco QQQ thought leaders and executives with their social media presence – focusing on LinkedIn – including content strategy, copywriting, and measurement.
  • Manage day-to-day workflows for Invesco QQQ content: Manage inquiries through internal process tools (Aprimo) supporting and executing campaigns. Closely partner with Compliance to ensure all regulatory requirements are met for social media content. Regularly submit to Compliance tracking system (RedOak).
  • Stay attuned to the latest social trends (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) and platform features in addition to digesting social listening, client feedback, competitive audits to implement growth and creative opportunities on social for Invesco QQQ.

The experience you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/Communications or related field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years directly related work experience in Social Media
  • Prior experience in advertising, public relations, or online marketing an asset.
  • Knowledge of financial services or heavily regulated industry preferred.
  • Excellent writing, editing and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiastic self-starter that thrives in fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to be highly creative and innovative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

The total compensation offered for this position, which includes salary and incentive pay, will vary based on skills, experience and location. The salary range for this position in New York City is $65,000 to $75,000 annually.
