Job Details
We're looking for a talented Business Unit Supervisor to join our team in York, SC.
Manages, develops, and leads the daily activities of multiple production teams.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Team Leadership : Manage production teams effectively by overseeing daily activities, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Safety Enhancement : Collaborate across functions to identify safety improvements, implement best practices, and enhance workplace safety.
- Productivity Boost : Drive productivity by optimizing processes, streamlining workflows, and meeting production targets.
- Quality Assurance : Ensure high-quality output by monitoring quality standards, addressing issues promptly, and implementing corrective actions.
- Efficiency Optimization : Continuously improve operational efficiency through process enhancements, resource allocation, and waste reduction.
- Guidance and Feedback : Provide clear guidance to team members, set expectations, and offer constructive feedback to help them achieve goals.
- Coaching and Mentoring : Support team development by coaching and mentoring individuals, fostering skill growth, and promoting teamwork.
- Training Initiatives : Identify training needs, design effective training plans, and implement programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.

EDUCATION, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS:
- College, university, or equivalent degree required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
EXPERIENCE:
- Intermediate level of supervisory experience required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be an effective communicator with strong leadership, development, and coaching skills.
- Have moderate Microsoft excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Have a basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
- This is a second shift role and onsite; Must be able to work 2:30pm-11:30 pm
