Salesforce Inc. seeks Principal Specialist SE in New York, NY:
Job Duties: Create and deliver customized product demonstrations. Support the sales cycle of the US Field Service solution engineering team. Work closely with customers to understand their current ecosystem and how Salesforce can help their business. Use each customized Proof of Concept to demonstrate the value of the Salesforce Platform to each specific customer. Demonstrate technical solutions based on the Salesforce Platform to potential and existing clients. Coordinate with other Salesforce teams to ensure that critical assets are delivered accurately and in a timely manner. Responsible for performing customer discovery sessions. Work with enterprise customers to uncover specific business needs and challenges. Drive internal collaboration by coordinating and strategizing with cross-functional teams including Industry Marketing, Sales, Sales Enablement, Field Marketing, Product, Partner, and ISV teams to execute against customer initiatives. Evangelize the Salesforce platform by providing thought leadership at events including Dreamforce, Connections, Regional World Tours, and select third-party events. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. May be assigned to various, unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Sales Cloud; (2) Service Cloud; (3) Salesforce Lightning Platform; (4) Chatter; (5) Analytics Cloud; (6) Field Service; (7) Marketing; (8) CRM; (9) Cloud Computing; and (10) Oracle. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. May be assigned to various, unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.
Salary: $165,060.00 - $220,850.00 per annum.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $165,060 to $220,850. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
