Salesforce is hiring a Manager to join our Global Communications team to support corporate communications functions, including executive communications, issues management, strategic planning and proactive storytelling. We’re looking for a PR pro with strong project management skills, writing skills, deep critical thinking and executive presence. Working with top executives or public figures and/or issues management experience preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
Identify proactive media, social media, and speaking opportunities
Research, develop, and edit content, including messaging, briefing docs, speeches, press releases, blog posts, social media posts, and more
Lead coverage reporting, measurement, and analytics to showcase team results for key stakeholders
Provide support on a variety of executive programs - including media and speaking/event prep
Drive thought leadership on key narratives
Support the management of and response to issues
Manage external agency team resources
Requirements:
6+ years of experience in communications, ideally public relations - agency, in-house, or both
Excellent research, communication, writing, organizational and project management skills
Skilled at managing up and prioritizing; self-starter who is comfortable managing their work autonomously
Strong media relations and social media skills
Thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is able to multi-task, re-prioritize projects and communicate priorities to business partners
Positive, flexible attitude, sense of humor and living in the moment are second nature

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $132,800 to $182,600. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
