Job Description

Dow Jones seeks an experienced Partnerships Manager to drive growth for the WSJ+ loyalty program through strategic brand partnerships. You will seek out and create new partnerships, help grow relationships with existing partners, and oversee marketing of partner benefits for WSJ+ members. As part of the WSJ+ team you will be responsible for contributing to engagement, loyalty, and revenue for the program. You will be a key contact for internal stakeholders and external partners as you help grow the WSJ+ benefit offerings for members around the globe. Your success will be measured by the quality and scope of the partnerships you create and manage, the creativity with which you solve problems, the impact of new member benefits on key performance metrics, and your ability to collaborate effectively with your team, other departments, and external partners.


  • Source and curate new WSJ+ member benefits, including offers, experiences, and events, through strategic partnerships that drive activation and engagement with the loyalty program and align with the global team strategy
  • Manage relationships with new and ongoing partners to deliver maximum value for both members and partners
  • Liaise with other teams across Dow Jones to manage and promote benefits from clients, partners and internal teams
  • Facilitate marketing of partner benefits in collaboration with the WSJ+ Site Editor to provide exposure for partners and boost member engagement
  • Monitor campaign performance for each partner benefit and optimize to reach goals
  • Source and deliver premium events and experiences to drive revenue
  • Work with partners to program, promote, and produce partner events, from planning stages to on-site logistics, and manage ticket sales and inventory
  • Manage administration of partner relationships with Dow Jones and serve as a liaison with relevant internal teams for contracting, ad placement, and billing
  • Maintain constant awareness of the direction and status of all partner campaigns, including managing deliverables, anticipating stakeholder needs, and thinking creatively to solve any problems that arise
  • Develop decks, presentations, and pitch materials for both internal and partner-facing needs
  • Proactively research and share industry trends to maintain a best-in-class loyalty program and identify new opportunities for growth


The ideal candidate will have:

  • 4-6 years working in marketing, delivering successful global campaigns and managing a variety of partnerships to drive results
  • Experience pitching and acquiring new partners, managing partner relationships and seeking out opportunities for growth
  • Excellent organizational skills, project management, and time management, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables at once
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels across the business
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically, with a focus on consistently providing a positive member experience
  • Drive to continually optimize campaigns for maximum effectiveness based on data and customer insights
  • Creativity, resourcefulness, and innovative thinking to reach goals
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage workload effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Specific experience in loyalty programs or event marketing is desirable, but not required.
  • Passion for the news and media industry
